The Joy of Horizon - Stewardship

When the stewardship committee first gathered to plan for 2026, we reflected on the challenges facing our world. Like many of you, we felt the weight of uncertainty, the concerns about our environment, and the shifting of foundations we once took for granted.

But then we looked closer to our own Horizon community and found countless reasons for hope and joy:

  • Friends walking the labyrinth together, finding peace in shared moments

  • Celebrating the cycles of nature through our Earth-centered spirituality

  • Standing proudly with our LGBTQ+ neighbors at Carrollton Pride

  • Sharing laughter and discovery at the Women's Retreat

  • Extending helping hands at Metrocrest and through our share the plate donations

  • Nurturing our youth as they explore their own spiritual paths

Through these moments of shared purpose, we find our strength. Every smile exchanged, every hand held, every meal shared reminds us that joy isn't just an emotion – it's a choice we make together.

What financial gift can you give that will be meaningful to you, that will give you strength and clarity in the months ahead?  What gift would be exciting and nourishing to your own spirit?
