Book Group

4th Tuesdays, 12-1 PM
Love reading? Bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy an invigorating discussion about each month’s book and reactions to it. Make friends and get to know book lovers in the process. Group does not meet in November and in December meets on the first Tuesday. Drop-ins are welcome. bookclub@horizonuu.org

Horizon Dinners
AT INDIVIDUALS’ HOMES
3RD SATURDAYS, 5 PM
Join members for dinner. Be a host or a guest for a potluck-style gathering. Horizon Dinners is one of the best ways to make connections with others. When you join the group, you'll just provide your name, contact info, and any relevant information (allergies, can’t drive far, etc.).
Each month, members provide information about available. The hosts and guests communicate to make plans, Groups are reshuffled as much as possible, so different people dine together each month. The more people involved, the more people you get to meet, so join in the fun!

Join us for refreshments and fellowship 2nd Thursdays at 7 pm at the Truck Yard in The Colony (5959 Grove Lane; The Colony, TX 75056). Free admission with live music. Food trucks and a good bar. Children and dogs welcome.
LGBTQIA+ Group

All members and visitors that identify as LGBTQIA+ are invited to join to discuss issues, support one another and enjoy social time together.

Women’s Retreat
First weekend in OCTOBER
Relax, reconnect, and meet new friends! Each fall Horizon holds a women-aligned weekend retreat to become refreshed and rejuvenated. Check the Women’s Retreat page for details and registration. Registration opens July 23 & closes August 23, 2026.
Young Adults
Lunch every 3rd Sunday
Horizon's Young Adult Group is a social group for young adults to connect with people in our age group (18-35ish). We meet every 3rd Sunday at 12:30pm for lunch and have a monthly event scheduled around our members’ availability. We have a Discord server where we make plans, chat, and send each other memes. Come make new friends and have fun! Email us for more information.
