The second performance of Horizon Players’ 2026 Summer Dessert Theatre has been rescheduled! The new performance is now a Sunday Matinee, at 3pm on September 20th. Come see our production of Murder Mystery!, written by Clay Kronke and featuring a cast of Horizon favorites!

Meg is a sci-fi novelist taking on a new project – a Murder Mystery! – as a way to pay tribute to her late father, but she gets more than she bargains for out of the process. Watch the characters come to life as the story unfolds and experience a fun murder mystery that’s also an exploration of loss and memory in the creative process. 

TICKETS: If you already purchased tickets – whether they were for the Friday show or the canceled Saturday performance – they will be honored and you will be admitted free. Donations will be taken at the door for anyone new. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

DONATIONS ACCEPTED: Cash can be dropped into the Love Offerings bowl at the door, or debit/credit can be donated via text to 73256, stating “HORIZON UU” and the donation amount of your choice. You will receive a link, select “Horizon Players Adult Ticket” from the dropdown menu, then click “continue” to complete the donation.

CHILDCARE is tentatively available for the September 20 show. Please contact Lauren at dlre@horizonuu.org no later than Thursday, Sept. 17 to confirm availability and to register your child(ren) if childcare is available.
