Candle Lighters

Fellowship Hall
Candle Lighters is an outreach ministry of Horizon UU Church which provides a meeting place for adults with memory issues. Open to persons of all faiths, races, and ethnicities, this group provides a time for participants to enjoy an activity-based program from 10am-2pm each Friday.
Caregiver Support

4th Fridays, 11 AM-12:30 Pm
This Caregiver Support Group, an outreach ministry of Horizon, is for anyone caring for a spouse, parent, relative, friend or companion with long-term needs. Join with others walking this caring path in a safe and friendly place as we share mutual support, information and experience. Church membership not required; anyone from the community is welcome.
Healthy Women’s

1st Thursdays, 7:30-9 PM
The Healthy Women’s Group provides support and encouragement for women with various health-related goals, such as increasing their level of fitness, eating more nutritiously, losing weight or maintaining weight, dealing with health challenges, and developing stress reduction techniques. Our monthly meetings include a time of group exercise, a discussion of a topical, health-related article, and a check-in of how we are doing with our personal health goals and challenges. This group also participates in an annual service project and raises money in local walk events. Join us for fitness and fellowship!
Men’s Support Group

Saturdays, 8-10 am
The Men’s Support Group offers men a supportive, safe environment for sharing personal challenges and concerns in a confidential setting. Many men are socialized to share only things external to them. This group for men age 18+ offers a sanctuary to share more about matters of the heart. Try us out and see if we fit your needs.
