Middle School: Grades 6-8 Spirituality According to the Simpsons
Our middle school class will spend part of the fall viewing selected episodes of The Simpsons as the basis for in-depth discussions of a wide variety of religious topics. The students will engage in discussion and activities designed to encourage deep contemplation of issues and application to their own lives. Class will also focus on social action projects and the Horizon monthly theme.

Thirteen and 14 year olds learn to clarify personal values as they explore spiritual, emotional, physical, and social aspects of sexuality. The class is approached with frankness about sex and sexuality while maintaining a level of respect and appropriateness. This class is a yearlong course offered every school year at 10:45AM. Due to the sensitive nature of this course, visiting eighth and ninth graders visiting mid-year are invited to join our Middle or High School group.
