The Nursery and The Toddler Room

Our paid caregivers warmly welcome infants and toddlers to our well-equipped nursery. Our nursery is headed by Becky Smith, our Childcare Supervisor. She manages a team of highly qualified personnel who are all CPR and First Aid certified to provide a safe environment for our youngest chalice children.

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Sunday Mornings

Childcare available at additional times upon request.
Please note that childcare for any Horizon event must be requested 48 hours in advance by emailing Childcare@Horizonuu.org

Pre-School - Celebrating Me and My World

Children in Pre-School (potty-trained three and four year olds)  will work on learning our covenant of love and acceptance this year through the Celebrating Me and My World curriculum. The young UUs in this class will learn through hands-on experience with the wonderful and wide world around them; stories about our Faith that teach our history and principles; and play, which is the natural expression of the young child's heart and mind. We seek to teach children that the whole of their being is accepted as they are in this class.

Pre-School begins at 10:20 AM.
Parents may drop their children off before service begins.
