Book Store and OnLine Sales

The Book Store

The Book Store is one of HUUC’s most successful ventures and provides valuable services to visitors, friends, and members. Book Store volunteers stock and sell books, Equal Exchange fair trade coffee and chocolate, and related items each Sunday before and after service. Any profit from the sale of books or other items is donated to the church.
Items sold at the book store reflect and support:

  • Perspectives of faith that illuminate the universal questions of humanity
  • Authentic depths of religious insight
  • UU principles, especially the free search for truth and meaning, spiritual practice, respect and tolerance for other faiths and cultures, and a pluralistic society
  • The importance of reading in our lives.

The Book Store is always looking for volunteers who love books and enjoy talking to others about them. The primary volunteer responsibility would be to work approximately one Sunday per month at the book store, respond to committee emails, and attend a meeting twice per year. If interested in volunteering, please drop by the book store and talk to one of the volunteers.

Books may be special ordered by contacting a Book Store volunteer or by completing a special order form on this site. Special orders may be picked up at the Book Store.
