On Saturday, January 16th, the Social Outreach Committee invites you to walk with us in the annual Carrollton Martin Luther King Parade. This parade celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King and promotes themes of peace and racial equality for all.
Participants should be lined-up by 9:30 am as the parade begins at 10:00 am. The parade forms behind Carrollton City Hall (1945 E. Jackson Road) and proceeds 1.5 miles to Ted Polk Middle School.
Detailed instructions are available at this link. Contact socialissues@horizonuu.org if you have questions and/or want to participate.
Join us in showing support for racial equality and justice in our community!
