Social Action Committee

The mission of the Social Action Committee is to provide knowledge to the congregation of social justice needs. The committee coordinates the participation of Horizon and its members in offering financial support, community service, or other assistance for social justice issues.

The Social Action Committee conducts activities in these areas:

•  Religious Liberty
•  Human Rights
•  Economic Justice
•  Environment
•  Animal Welfare
•  Health and Family
•  Bisexual Gay Lesbian Transgender Equality
•  Peace and Conflict Resolution
